A Horseshoe Crab Tale

There once was a family who moved to New Jersey. They had a daughter named Sarah. Sarah was a very good girl. One day she had to go to school so she went to school. Then one day she went to the beach with her family. She found a horseshoe crab on the sand upside down, and she did not know how to flip it over. So she went to her dad and she asked, “How do you flip a horseshoe crab?”

He said, “I don’t know. Go ask your mother.”

She went to her mother and asked, “How do you flip a horseshoe crab?”

Her mother said, “I don’t know.”

So Sarah went and flipped it over by its tail, but that hurt her. Then someone else walked by and flipped it over by its side. And then she asked that person, “How do you flip a horseshoe crab?”

And he said, “Flip it over by its side.”
