Dangerous Lives
We, as horseshoe crabs,
have dangerous lives,
We males are much smaller,
than all of our wives.

Related in which to the scorpions,
and spiders,
we horseshoes crabs are not,
little fighters.

We are bright and bold,
Although at times,
The water is very cold.

We horseshoes crabs,
are smart little creatures,
Our petite bodies behold,
many features.

While you humans take your,
time going to the beach with,
a map,
I’ll go over there and take a little,
nap
