Comments:
This is the third version of a super realistic three-dimensional simulation (sculpture) of an extinct ancient horseshoe crab entitled "Limulus Phoenix" by Takeshi Yamada. The details of this species are inspired by elaborate trilobite species. The main body is formed with at least five different adult female horseshoe crabs. The body parts of three different species of land and marine creatures were utilized for this super realistic bioorganic sculpture by the artist. |
